Keep your rooms safe and secure with the Fred Pressure Fit Wooden Stairgate. The unique design uses a single piece of carved poplar wood taken from sustainable forests that will compliment your homes aesthetics. The wood was selected due to its lightweight strength and durability over time, making the gate easy to operate, whilst still standing strong when facing the full weight of a determined toddler. The built in pressure lift allows the gate to operated one-handed with ease but is still impossible for little ones to open. The gate can also be opened in both directions, with the option of a one-way swing setting, perfect for passing through when holding a baby in your arms. 

• Stands at 77cm tall so children cannot climb over. Fits between openings between 76cm-96cm, with or without standard size skirting boards.
• Can be installed with wall cups and adhesive or with screws. This stairgate can be adjusted to fit wider openings by using the Fred Wall and Skirting Kit, Stair post Kit and Y-Spindle which are sold separately. 
• We do not recommend fitting any pressure fit stairgate at the top of the stairs due to the bar at the bottom.
• All screws and fittings are included with an additional magnetic spirit level also included to ensure the perfect fit.
• Complies with European safety standards EN 1930 for safety barriers and all the relevant clauses of the EN71 series for toy safety.
