There were a few surprises this year in the baby name rankings. Noah and Olivia were the most popular names in England and Wales, with Noah taking over from Oliver. Olivia is still reigning strong for the sixth year running. There are a few newcomers in this year’s top 100, with Lara, Beatrice and Sara for girls and Blake, Brody, Kai, Rupert, Tobias and Nathan for boys. It’s the first time that Rupert and Brody have ever been in the top 100.
